when we first visited this charming craftsman on irwin street, it was damaged extensively by a fire which took the entire house next door to the ground.
although the inside had been previously remodeled, the current owners saw this unfortunate event as an opportunity to bring certain areas of the house up to code, but also to return some of the home’s original charm + we were honored to be a part of the team that made it possible.
the main areas of improvement included reconfiguring kitchen + main floor flow, better (+ safer) connection to outdoors + basement, with improvements to flow + function of bathroom + closet spaces in main bedroom.
it was a genuine pleasure to help bring back some of this home’s originally intended function + character while also helping this family find a fresh start. so happy to report they are moved back in + looking forward to returning to entertaining their family + friends regularly. we wish them all the best in this new chapter!
